REGION 02What Rockstar has shown
The Keys are a string of low islands trailing southwest from the mainland, joined by long causeways that carry the highway out over open water. Stilt houses stand over the shallows and charter boats idle at the docks — the slow, bright, slightly lawless end of Leonida.
Smuggling country
Rockstar leans into the Keys' real reputation as a smuggling corridor. Jason runs errands here for the drug runner Brian Heder, the old-school smuggler who lets him live on one of his properties in exchange for odd jobs.

The Key Lento safehouse is the best-documented stop, traced from leaked footage. The Rusty Anchor is the on-water bar that reads as a social hub, and the Miss Demeanor charter — a fishing boat parked by a bait shop — rounds out the island's known locations.

PORT GELLHORN
A run-down Gulf Coast port town where the neon flickers and the rents are low — motels, strip malls, a shuttered waterpark and a worn-down criminal economy. Mile marker 47 anchors it on the highway.
AMBROSIA
A rural industrial region dominated by sugar refineries and small-town Americana, near the inland waters of Lake Leonida — Rockstar's nod to the communities around Lake Okeechobee.
