GTA 6: The Album — Tracklist, Artists, Release Date And Pre-Order
Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17, 2026 — a 34-track soundtrack album that releases on November 19, 2026, the same day the game ships. Six of those tracks are already out as debut singles, and the artist list reads like a deliberately impossible genre spread: Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, Rauw Alejandro, Yung Lean feat. Future and Metro Boomin', and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso with Pink Pantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy. Digital pre-save is open, and the Rockstar shop sells both a standard vinyl and a Limited Edition version alongside a CD.
For a series that has always treated its radio dial as a headline feature, this is the first time Rockstar has put the soundtrack itself up for pre-order before a game exists. This page covers what is confirmed, what is still missing, and where the album sits next to the in-game stations.
What The Album Actually Is
Rockstar's description is short: 34 original tracks "that capture the electric energy of Grand Theft Auto VI's world of Vice City and Leonida", performed by what the company calls "a genre-defying roster of the most exciting artists in the world". Every detail beyond that — the running order, the full artist list, whether any track appears in a mission — is still unannounced.
Two things follow from the wording. The tracks are original, commissioned for the game rather than licensed from back catalogues, which is a change from the classic GTA radio formula of borrowed records. And the album is a companion to the November 19 launch, not a promo artifact dropped weeks early: it arrives when the game does. Our gameplay systems page covers what Rockstar has said about how music and missions interlock.
The Six Singles Out Now
Rockstar's official music page lists six debut singles "that showcase Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album", all streaming now:
| Track | Artist |
|---|---|
| That's It | Yung Lean feat. Future and Metro Boomin' |
| RHYNO | Travis Scott |
| Sexy Magic | CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Pink Pantheress, Fred again.., Etienne de Crécy |
| Last Thing You Need | Morgan Wallen |
| Macacoa 2000 | Rauw Alejandro |
| Bright Lights, Big City | Keith Richards |
The line-up is the story as much as the numbers. A country single, a French-house-influenced dance collaboration, a reggaetón track from Rauw Alejandro, drill and trap from Yung Lean and Travis Scott, and a rock veteran in his seventies — six of a promised 34 slots, and not one of them overlaps with another. That spread maps onto the geography of Leonida almost directly: country and folk for the rural counties, Latin pop and reggaetón for Port Gellhorn's population, dance and hip-hop for Vice City proper. See our Leonida map guide for what each region brings.
How The Tease Ran
The announcement did not arrive cold. Beginning around September 15, artists whose names had never appeared in any GTA materials started posting studio clips and cover artwork to their own channels, which is how the community assembled a partial tracklist roughly 48 hours before Rockstar said anything. When the Newswire post landed on September 17 it confirmed the shape of the rumor rather than correcting it — including Travis Scott's "RHYNO", which had already circulated as a clip.
Formats, Pricing And Pre-Order
Two separate actions are live on the official music page: "Pre-Save Digital Album" and "Pre-Order Vinyl or CD". Rockstar's shop currently lists a Limited Edition Vinyl and a standard Vinyl, both credited to Various Artists.
| Format | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Digital (34 tracks) | Pre-save open | Streams from November 19; six singles available now |
| Vinyl, standard | On sale | Various Artists, listed as new in the Rockstar shop |
| Limited Edition Vinyl | On sale | Reportedly sold out in several European storefronts |
| Physical CD | On sale | Sold through the same pre-order flow |
Pricing for the deluxe physical bundles has been reported at roughly $124.98 / £108.99 in the weeks after the announcement. Treat those numbers as retailer-specific until the Rockstar shop product page confirms them — the collector's tiers have sold out before in some regions. Everything tied to the game itself, including the Vintage Vice City Pack, is covered in our pre-order guide, and the $79.99 / $99.99 edition split is in the price breakdown.
Details may change before launch — official Rockstar pages are the final authority.
What Rockstar Has Not Announced
The gaps matter as much as the confirmed list, because a few of them look like answers when they are really still open questions:
- The full 34-track title list. Only the six singles are named. The remaining 28 titles have not been published anywhere official.
- The complete artist roster. Names have surfaced through artist posts, not through Rockstar, so anything outside the six singles is unverified.
- Whether the album is the radio. No station lineup, DJ roster or licence list has been announced.
- A digital-only price. Rockstar has not published standalone pricing for the album.
- Chart strategy. No announced singles schedule beyond the debut six.
Does The Album Replace GTA 6 Radio?
Almost certainly not. Rockstar's games have historically separated the licensed stations you hear while driving from official soundtrack collections sold separately, and The Album is described as a standalone 34-track release rather than as the station list for Leonida's airwaves. The reasonable expectation is that the two overlap only partially, and that pre-save being live does not mean any of these six songs plays in a specific mission or on a specific station. Nothing in the announcement contradicts that, and nothing confirms it either.
